Although many people would think that conflict in the work place is bad, and would paint a picture of stressful confrontations, conflict actually refers to different ideas or interests, tension and disagreements which all come about with collaboration. Conflict, when approached positively will improve the decision making process, allow employees to be involved in the discussions, arouse creativity or imagination, facilitate employee growth, build cohesion which are all beneficial for the company (Jehn, 1999) . I was a part of a group working on a marketing idea to introduce a new product in the market and there were different individuals with different ideas which not everyone agreed on. At the end of the project, we realized that our differences created a strong marketing ploy for the company.
