In real life, most people usually like to break from the demands of their normal work activities. Through this, the tourism industry is pivotal in the economic growth of many nations in the world as it attracts many people with different interests in certain activities. In my case study, I will deal with tourism industry as leisure activities play a crucial role in my personal growth and are fundamental in creating a good life for me. Generally, one of my favorite hobbies is to travel to new destinations to unwind from the usual academic responsibilities and gain more knowledge on different subjects in life. Therefore, this makes tourism industry the best choice to base my study on, as it is an interesting sector to me and affects my everyday life positively. In addition, the sector is fascinating and in future, I would like to work in various organizations within the industry such as the transportation, tour operation and hotel industry. This paper is a case study of British Airways Company, which is an example of an organization that deals with tourism products and services. Importantly, the paper will discuss how embracing certain information technology techniques and approaches could help transform the British Airways Corporation.
