In the corporate world, the success of each and every business is largely determined by how public relations are maintained and enhanced. This refers to how a company or an organization professionally strives to preserve a favorable image among the public. A good image develops a positive company reputation. With good reputation, more customers get attracted to the services provided by the company. In this regard, the health sector is no exemption. Therefore, Frederick Memorial Hospital has to adapt aggressive public relation strategies in order to address the financial crisis concerns.
Just like other nationwide hospitals, Frederick hospital serves a wide range of clients. However, the most suitable target audiences for this institution include; patients and families, medical personnel and the society. These audiences play a significant role in the performance of the hospital. Through effective analysis of the patients and families who are the main target market, it becomes possible to understand the future needs required by these consumers. Effective management strategies can therefore be implemented, which translates to higher profitability. Besides, the medical personnel are integral in the execution of health services. Targeting and attracting competent and qualified health experts is crucial towards ensuring that the services rendered are up to standards and of the desired quality. Provision of good remuneration to them helps in preventing challenges such as doctor shopping which normally delays treatment, worsens medical condition and eventually raise medical expenditure.
