Despite the disapproval of certain colleagues over her methods and suggestions at Citibank, Hunt demonstrates her commitment to problem-solving by never giving up on pursuing answers. Hunt is reportedly making repeated attempts to disclose scams and flaws in the mortgages that Citi bought from related lenders, according to Waytz and Kilibarda (2014). In this sense, Hunt is driven mainly by altruism, personal values, and convictions. She never wavers from her upbringing. In this regard, Hunt had a long and prosperous career in the mortgage industry because she worked hard and took pride in adhering to the law.

Employers benefit from a compelling voice because it fosters employee trust, creativity, efficiency, and organizational advancement. When workers express themselves verbally, they frequently feel more appreciated at work, have more influence, have better career chances, and feel more respected. To create inclusive workplaces, employee voice is crucial.

Instead of giving in to pressure, if I had been Hunt, I would have launched a whistleblower case against Citigroup and the parent company of Citigroup. I would use the False Claim Act to bring up this lawsuit against Citigroup. Hunt was overruled, though, by the quality rebuttal committee, which claimed that HUD-1 could not be used to decide whether a loan was defective and authorized file without HUD-1 for FHA insurance.
