The data collection and processing systems (SDCPS) are forms of data collection in aviation and refer to schemes for exchanging information, and processing and reporting systems. According to Federal Aviation Authority (FAA) (2022), safety data collected include the records pertaining to incident and accident investigations, voluntary reporting of incidents, obligatory reporting systems for incidents, and self-disclosure reporting systems such as manual data capture systems and automatic data capture. The analysis that is utilized aims at shifting the balance of less serious incidents from reactive accident investigations to more proactive approaches. Different agencies are required to have data analyses to identify safety trends and issues. The Safety Management Systems (SMS) are effective because they assure that the aircraft is working as designed. SMS's primary purpose is safety assurance and demonstrates to the regulatory authorities functional and alert management of safety performance. Besides, system analysis helps in improving the process and increases efficiency during the assessments of systems’ risk exposure. The regulatory compliance according to FAA includes procedures for staff, controls to help realize correct output, and responsibility and authority to complete the required activities.
