I am a current holder of bachelor’s degree in nursing, waiting to graduate in a few months. I am hoping to put in application the skills acquired during my time at school in the nursing field.
I am a professional who believes in doing what is right, and I also like taking care of others. I am also enthusiastic and full of ideas. I am hardworking, highly motivated and initiative-taking. What is more, the nature of my course has helped me to become a better, caring person. I have become more patient with people and more receptive.
I have undertaken multiple jobs and volunteered in programs, operating in highly competitive and demanding settings. I have also participated in activities, involving other departments including the respiratory, emergency and social work departments to design evidence-based interventions that were later successfully implemented. In the programs, I enhanced my skills in working with the elderly people by providing long-term care. I worked with the elderly in designing interventions to deal with hypertension. Moreover, I applied teaching skills in designing teaching plans to instruct asthmatic patients on how to correctly use inhalers.

Career Plan
I am an extremely motivated and ambitious person who is about to complete a nursing course. My ultimate goal is to offer quality health care to those under my care and become an authoritative figure in the nursing field later on. Nursing is an evolving field due to the great deal of academic discourse and research undertaken. It necessitates a flexible approach and an open mind. I am interested in nursing because I am compassionate and have a strong sense of taking care of other people. Furthermore, I have an insatiable hunger for knowledge and knowledge creation. I believe nursing is a calling. I know that this line of career resonates with my beliefs, values, and ambitions. Below is my tentative career plan.
1 Year
My first goal is to enhance my expertise and educational grounding. Nursing is a rapidly changing field. There are new drugs being introduced into the healthcare system and new more effective and efficient practices are designed. To keep abreast of these developments and enhance my expertise, I will be reading recent researches in my areas of interests and enroll in different courses. I will also be taking time to think about the nursing areas that I am an enthusiast. My considerations are emergency, social work, and mental health management. Specialization would not only help to expand my knowledge base but would also maximize career potential.
5 Years
I plan to increase my responsibilities and improve my financial position. Regarding responsibilities, I endeavor to venture into academics. I would pursue masters in nursing. I expect to engage critically with others to increase the knowledge base, efficiency and quality of nursing care. I also expect to achieve financial security that may enable me to start a family.
10 Years
In a decade, I expect to have completed the professional cycle of my career. I plan to shift my focus to academia. I plan to be a lecturer and a consultant in the nursing field. I also wish to edit and moderate authoritative journals in the nursing field.

He also developed an educational plan to show the elderly people how to reduce the chances of getting hypertension and extreme pain management.
