Smart Practices in Increasing Employee Motivation
Introduction
Over 60% of companies in the US have reported a decrease in motivation among their employees (Braga, 2021). The issue of motivation among the employees has been described to be connected to the productivity of companies. A high motivation among employees significantly increases their productivity (Braga, 2021). The HR departments within most companies ensure that they have increased productivity by engaging the employees in activities that boost their motivation (Singhvi, Dhage & Sharma, 2018). Motivation impacts the employees within companies significantly, requiring that effective measures be implemented to increase this motivation (Braga, 2021). It includes an important role within most companies. It remains a critical part of the growth and development of a company. The issue of demotivation among most companies includes a key problem within most industries (Braga, 2021). This factor has also been the main reason why most companies have developed new ways through which they could improve their employees' motivation (Braga, 2021).
Motivation has been researched to influence employees' engagement, resulting in an impact on productivity. Singhvi, Dhage & Sharma (2018) also created a study that found around 13% of employees remain engaged at work all year round. Motivation was found to have a key influence on this factor. The study also defined employee motivation as the direct result of interactions with the manager (Singhvi, Dhage & Sharma, 2018). Therefore, leadership within the company was found to have a major influence on this type of motivation. The company's influence was found to have an increased influence on the organization's development and growth (Singhvi, Dhage & Sharma, 2018). This was a leading factor in engaging in this research topic. The topic effectively showcases some of the ways companies can ensure productivity all year round.
The study focuses on the different smart ways to be developed and included to promote motivation within the company's workforce. Including these types of practices in the HR department will act to improve the company's development (Braga, 2021). Therefore, the overall focus of employee motivation includes the needed type of growth for the company. Smart practices have remained a key part of most practices engaged today (Braga, 2021). Including technology and AI systems within different parts of the company to make them smart has resulted in efficiency and development within the companies (Singhvi, Dhage & Sharma, 2018). The need to focus on developing these companies has also been found to influence the company's development and growth (Singhvi, Dhage & Sharma, 2018). Therefore, the research topic taps into a needed area of study and describes some of the actions that companies need to implement to attain results. These practices will significantly influence the needed development for the companies present (Singhvi, Dhage & Sharma, 2018). Employees remain the backbone of companies, and finding the most effective approaches to achieving their development acts as a method of promoting growth (Singhvi, Dhage & Sharma, 2018). The research ensures that key methods will be developed for solving the issue of continued demotivation among US employees.
