Dermatological disorders are diseases that occur on the skin characterized by mild rashes or severe infections. Most of these illnesses have no cure, but specific therapies can manage their symptoms. Acne is among the most common skin problem that appears on the chest, face, upper back, and shoulders as black spots. Dermatitis is another common problem that causes skin inflammation and restlessness. However, the paper will focus on cellulitis, a life-threatening dermatological disorder, to determine the causes, symptoms, and treatment modalities.
Causes and Symptoms of Cellulitis
Cellulitis is a common and sometimes painful skin disorder that usually affects the legs, arms, face, and other body parts. A severe infection appears as a red and hot swelling with the ability to spread quickly. It can be life-threatening if untreated because it expands to the bloodstream and lymph nodes and becomes life-threatening rapidly. The overwhelming factor is that it does not transfer from person to person. Instead, cellulitis is caused by the entrance of bacteria, ordinarily, staphylococcus and streptococcus, through a skin break or crack. Mostly, the infection occurs in the lower leg, but it can start anywhere in some instances. Hence, athletes who have had surgery, puncture wounds, or previous dermatitis cases are highly likely to contract the bacteria. Animal bites can also cause it. Other risk factors associated with the disorder include a weak immune system,
