1.2 EXPERIENCES
While in MCH, I attended the following clinics:
1 Triage
2 Antenatal care clinic (ANC)
3 Nutrition clinic
4 TB clinic
1.2.1Triage
At the triage, I did anthropometric assessment for children brought for routine immunization and growth monitoring thereafter plotted the obtained result in mother and child health booklet. I also tallied the number of children seen in child Health and Nutrition Information system (CHANIS) based on their age, weight for age and height for age.
I referred children with faltering and static growth patterns and the malnourished ones to nutrition clinic for nutrition counseling, education, appropriate intervention and monitoring.
