Different communities in the world have different ways to carry out their day to day roles, responsibilities, and duties. These communities have other structures that are to be strictly followed and adhered to in the society at large. Therefore, social change can be described as the various ways in which a community’s social structure is altered with different mechanisms. These changes can be cultural symbols, rules, behaviors, codes of conduct, and social organizations or value systems. Therefore, this paper seeks to look into the different types of social change, singling out the best of the three types of social change in a set Luo community culture describing the size, industry, and diversity of the population.
