Executive Summary
Introduction
This task is aimed at understanding the basics of financial management in firms. It involves the identification of different project appraisal methods, their practical application in the choice of investment, the weaknesses and strengths of the techniques, use of cash flow statements in comparison to profits, the use of cost volume profit analysis in making decisions and use of ratio analysis by the management and investors in making decisions regarding the firm. It also examines the use of traditional budgeting as a technique and some of the benefits associated with it.
