The first dance was performed by two female dancers clad in white shirts and black pants. Their body movements were focused on the torso, with other movements on the lower part of the body. The underlying theme of the dance was to do with the purpose of unity in achieving a common goal. Being closer to the dancers on stage offered me a rare opportunity to have an even closer and better understanding of the stage performance. The stage lighting was entirely focused on the dancers’ bodies. The light illuminated on the dancers’ white shirts.
