Is justice important for a Prosperous Society?
Introduction
No person does not fancy a society where safety, respect, and humility are paramount regardless of the difference in ethnicity, gender, religion, or political affiliations. All societies in the world view justice as a fundamental force intertwined with freedom and equality that precedes sustainable development. I believe that conflicts are inevitable, but the response of an individual to the perpetrator is the clear-cut presentation of justice. Primarily, the law of retribution is nature's way of enforcing justice, and it applies to all humans. From the dawn of time, humanity has recognized the importance of justice orchestrated by the law-making through the fundamental desire of self-preservation. Although I do not live in a just society, I realize the importance of justice in a prosperous society, in the form of law, moderation, and nature to its success.
Nature
Regardless of one’s upbringing or religious background, the thought of justice is intrinsic and observable. If climate change is nature’s way of punishing humans for polluting the environment, then, it is evident that no evil goes unpunished. I presume that every person has a conscience and emotionally tie with each action for the good of every living being. However, the mere fact that most valued assets are scarce poses a question that scares the core of justice. Furthermore, the universal quest for justice is accelerated by the undisputable truth that most of the amenities in life hinge on either collective or individual efforts. For these reasons, questions regarding the ownership and the measure of valued goods, and the burdens and stains involved arise in all forms of social aggregation.
