National Security and International Relations
The fundamental obligation of the USA federal government is to defend itself against its enemies. In the past, this was dealt with by having armies and industrial capabilities. However, this is not the case nowadays; enemies have developed new methods of creating havoc. Terrorists have better organization and use the advanced technology against the people of America. The best way to defend against our enemy will be the use of our military power, put in place high intelligence, try by all means to cut off funding of the terror groups and to improve homeland defense. The strategies will see America help Nations needing the assistance in fighting terrorist and hold into account countries harboring terrorists. Together with like-minded nations, we will rebuff terrorists’ sanctuary at all cost (Gibson, 2016)
Energy Resources and Sustainable Environment
Being the world largest energy consumer, America has to have accessible energy, safe, sustainable and affordable energy for all. To be able to feed the economy of the nation, the country must continue with the search for rich energy sources and efficient technologies for an energy secure future. Over-reliance on conventional fuels make it hard to adopt new technologies in energy and hence the need to new sources of energy. New strategies for meeting future energy demands include reducing consumption by coming up with energy efficient gadgets, increasing supply by venturing in Renewables, developing new sources and finally encouraging innovation in the energy field (Ohio University,16) which will lead to a sustainable environment free of pollution and a better world for our children.
Education
Education is essential for the development of a nation; better policies need to be put in place to secure its quality in the future. Education in future will see the implementation of common core standards which will ensure vigor amongst student as well as offering consistency. Also to be taken into consideration will be the promotion of transparency while investing in the curricula and providing high-quality learning materials and lastly providing equity in the learning environment (Ulrich Boser, Perpetual Baffour, and Steph Vela,13-15).
Economic Growth
With technological advancement and its adoption in the economy of America, the economy will be driven majorly by Artificial Intelligence as more firms will be looking to streamline their production processes. With better policies such as incentives towards better innovation will enable the adoption of profitable innovations as we move towards a fully-fledged technology world (The White House a, 24).
Social security reforms
Over the years, America has seen unsustainable social security finances. Policy-makers came up with better to tackle these problems. Some of these proposals are; introducing more accurate measures to reduce the cost of leaving allowance which reduces spending on social security. Raising the normal retirement age from 66 to 67 thus reducing the number of years retirees live.
