Biblical Stewardship Principle
The Bible teaches that God owns everything in this world and that man was given the responsibility of being steward (Beisner, 1994). This means that man is only in charge of what exists in the world today. If all Christians will get this concept, it means that they will have the best business behavior in whatever they engage in. It is in this line that I support that Christians should be less prone to using deception and other forms of irresponsible practices in trying to achieve economic goals. This is true because as stewards, Christians will get to know that it is God who gives each of them liberally according to the talents they have been bestowed (Beisner, 1994). This means that the wealth and resources have blessed them with should be used to the glory of God. It is for this reason that every act and deed which is performed by a Christian in business should be in line with the commandments God has given in His word.
