Issues in Supply Chain Management. Business & Marketing Essay (Essay Sample)
My research topic is on the following: Issues within Supply Chain in International Business. The research will consist of the Global market, Technological forces, political, and economic influences. I will also focus on foreign competition, growth, diplomatic relationships, and risks. Some international companies also have ethical issues in their supply chain systems and practice illegal actions such as modern-day slavery, illegal child labor and illegally obtained goods.

* Taxonomy of International Supply Chains: this is the classification of the supply chain models in to various categories (Sutono, 2019).

* Global Market Forces: the include growth from foreign demand, and f oreign competition in the local markets (Sutono, 2019).
* Technological Forces: they are technological collaborations, global location of R&D, Diffusion of Knowledge (Sutono, 2019).
* Global Cost Forces: cost of unskilled labor, joint venture, price breaks, cost sharing.
* Political and Economic Forces: they include the fluctuations and operations flexibility and government procurement policies (Sutono, 2019).
* 3 Risks of international supply chains and how to address them: some of the major risks attached to the international supply chain are the fluctuation of the exchange rates, the flexibility of the global market, and the speculative nature of the market (Prokop, 2017).
