Student’s Name Professor’s Name Course Date Chapter 6 Current Era in Leadership: New Era in Leadership Research Chapter 6, "Current Era in Leadership: New Era in Leadership Research," demonstrates the new leadership paradigm in today's sociopolitical sphere. It outlines the field's dominant charismatic, transformative, and value-based approaches past leaders have once employed. Even though the idea of charisma has been a critical component of leadership for quite some time, more complete depictions of the process are now possible thanks to current scientific methodologies (Nahavandi, 2). Leadership that is charismatic, transformative, and value-based is appealing to a broad audience and offers a practical understanding of suitable leadership techniques that can be used in various complex leadership circumstances. The current era of leadership has evolved due to the rebirth of the leadership approach that has helped leaders tackle challenges or influence their followers to believe in their cause. The chapter elucidates charismatic, transactional, transformational, and value-based leadership characteristics. These traits have enabled leaders to prosper in their areas of focus. The chapter highlights examples of some leaders who excelled using each leadership approach. Nonetheless, a leader needs not to possess all these traits to become effective; what works for one may not work for the other. The best way is for one to understand where they fall by assessing their traits, strengths, weaknesses, and what they believe in as drivers to success. Besides, the chapter cautions against overusing some leadership attributes as they create a false positive utopia that may hinder one from effectively tackling a crisis. Leadership is a broad concept that continues to evolve based on how people handle their affairs, portray themselves, and manage their followers. This chapter has given a thorough description of each leadership style, and a reader can use each leadership aspect to assess themselves to establish where they fall or which leadership style works best for them. However, all leadership styles have one thing in common: they aim to enhance performance or increase chances of success. Thus, understanding followers' circumstances, mentalities, and traits and your specific features as a leader are critical in leadership assessment. Student’s Name Professor’s Name Course Date A woman's fury holds lifetimes of wisdom The video "A woman's fury holds lifetimes of wisdom" elaborates on why women feel fury inside them due to being manipulated by men. Men are fond of helping themselves because it is their norm and not because they are less moral. Some men have misused women by taking advantage of their vulnerability. The victims tolerate harassment and maltreatment because no one can help them. If someone misuses a woman, it not only creates discomfort and distress but also awakens the past mistreatments women in our generation endured (Ross). Many women have been subjects of their husbands, landowners, and heartless men who define their femininity. Many women lack the independence to use their bodies as they deem necessary because th...
