A.  Assess the current patient care delivery situation by doing the following:
1.  Identify five key stakeholders in the scenario.
The scenario has key stakeholders comprising the hospital, physicians, office staff, patients, and clinical staff.
Discuss the impacts of the acquisition on the key stakeholders identified in A1.
The new developments in the facility have a major focus on improving patient care. As a result, there will be the provision of high-quality care leading to more satisfaction among patients. Further, physicians originating from an exclusive facility have to adapt and learn new regulations. The initial facility owners will also have to learn the art of changing their approach to a team-centered approach. Even though sometimes a change might not be an easy move, it will be necessary to come up with various measures to deal with those who go contrary to the set regulations. It is important to focus on every employee in an organization when enforcing a new change (Blokdyk, 2020). In relation to this, there could be attempts to implement some change to the clinical and office staff. However, such a move needs scrutiny as there could be chances of the merger’s existing staff replacing some clinical staff. Furthermore, the hospital will also feel the change process in terms of the security dimension. The new staff will have to access the medical records of patients, which are vital and highly sensitive. To ensure the security of such documentation, the hospital might have to undergo extra cost installing new and advanced security measures to provide quality electronic health records of patients. Besides, the hospital will also increase its revenue, as it will source loyal patients from the initial facility.
2.  Identify three barriers for change.
Three likely barriers would encompass financial issues, resistance to change, and management adjustments.
Discuss the criteria you would use to prioritize the barriers identified in A2.
Barriers in a change process in an organization require keen examination failure to which the workforce will not achieve the set goals and objectives (Kamaljeet, 2020). In this case, it might be necessary to consider it important to integrate a balanced scorecard that would assist in aligning every team player with the organization’s set strategy and mission. This move will be crucial in prioritizing the identified barriers. The initial barrier of consideration comprises financial issues. Financial issues are likely to emerge as every aspect of the organization will require finances to keep operations functioning. The second barrier of examination includes management adjustments. The newly developed management will have to ensure that it absorbs any new employees and be responsible for handling any new issues that might arise between them. The last barrier of consideration includes resistance to change
