Only to realize later on, that we should have made the right decision to solve the problem impeccably. Lack of basic decision-making skills will only result in living a life whereby problems, needs and challenges will keep knocking on your door, as well as be part and parcel of your life day-in day-out. Using a gradually decision-making procedure can support one make more cautious, thoughtful resolutions by establishing appropriate information and outlining alternatives. The fifth phase is to select among the ranked alternatives that seem to address the matter considerably. One can even combine two or more alternatives, if need be. The sixth phase is to commence the implementation of the alternative selected in the fifth phase in the most appropriate manner. For instance, at this phase if it’s an organization, you ought to involve all key stakeholders, to ensure long-term sustainability of the change.
