Which of the EI building blocks would impact management’s ability to enhance employee performance and job satisfaction? Based on your research on motivational theory, describe how your task force would utilize positive or negative reinforcement to influence the members of the organization and resolve the issue. Provide examples to support your solution.
2. EI and Social Skills and Decision Making
Explain how the core concepts of emotional intelligence would enhance the social skills and the decision-making efficacy of the management team.
3. Effective Teams
Describe the core attributes of an effective team and the strategies you would implement to develop team dynamics that will benefit the organization.
4. Reward Systems
Create an effective reward system for this organization. Determine the strategies you would incorporate to motivate your employees and influence behavior.
5. Executive Summary
Prepare a one-page executive summary that you will present to the CEO in an upcoming executive meeting.

Emotional building blocks tend to be the crucial emotional skills of a person that build up their emotional intelligence capacity. Emotional building blocks are crucial to any administration/management’s ability to improve its employees’ performance and additionally improve job satisfaction. Besides, the most significant building blocks which enhance job satisfaction and the employee performance are emotional self-awareness, self-perception, and leadership, self-actualization, and self-regard.
Self-actualization refers to the capability of a person to enhance/improve themselves as well as the awareness to pursue significant objectives and goals. Self-regard is a person’s ability to be alert of and to comprehend their leadership capabilities and their self-image. All the mentioned emotional building blocks tend to be very significant to the employees, management, and to the company.
As a motivation tool, Positive reinforcement is the prize for doing something excellently. This motivation tool can get used when a person remarkably performs beyond what they expect. Besides, the management can use positive reinforcement when jobs/tasks get assigned to an employees’ group and the administration is seeking to boost competition among an employees’ group. A positive reinforcement’s example is when a worker is offered bonuses for completing particular jobs in the workplace.
As a motivation tool, negative reinforcement is a penalty when one fails to do something or when one does something poorly. The management can use this motivation tool when the workers tend to perform poorly in their obligations. Also, the management can employ negative reinforcement when workers are hesitant to do compulsory tasks in the place of work. Besides, negative reinforcement can get utilized when workers break organization’s procedures and policies. A good example is when workers get penalized for getting late to work.
EI and Social Skills and Decision Making
Social skills in emotional intelligence refer to the skills that are needed to handle and also to influence other individual’s emotions efficiently. Thus, the core emotional intelligence’s concepts could get utilized to improve the management’s social skills.
