The COVID-19 pandemic has affected universal supply chains at an unprecedented scale and speed. Not often have supply-chain managers faced more compound, changing situations than they experienced during the COVID-19 pandemic. Since the appearance of the epidemic, it has triggered severe economic and social interruption globally and a large global recession since the Great Depression. Supply chain management has experienced major difficulties coping with an unexpected demand for various commodities when instantaneously limitations for production and travel have been imposed and still struggle to recuperate. The COVID-19 outbreak is a good indication that pandemics can seriously wreak havoc on supply chains around the globe, for example, in China, where the pandemic is said to have started to affect the economy worldwide. China is a major international manufacturer of various products, and they make a considerable number of products available to America, whether in full-scale production of raw materials. The break in the economic scheme caused by COVID-19 first impacted the global supply from China, which caused consequences to dribble down the whole supply chain. Operations of many businesses are struggling to adjust to the new circumstances, which may lead to facing even more changes even after the pandemic. Supply chains in relative to COVID-19 are extensively deliberated, and scientific studies on the implications of the disaster have already begun.
