Background: Enron was a publicly traded corporation. There were several people in the video/documentary who had roles in Enron as members of the board of directors and/or as officers. Many of them either directly engaged in deception or allowed the deception to continue.
Address the following prompt in your post:
Identify one of those officers and/or directors by name and discuss his/her corporate role and relate their actions to three other legal/ethical concepts we have learned this semester. Remember to use specific examples from the documentary noting the minute in parenthesis. This is an open ended prompt, you are free to draw your own connections, but use legal or ethical concepts you have learned in this course this semester (possible ideas: Chapter 2, Chapter 5, Chapter 6, Chapter 16) and name the concept with the terminology from the material (note the chapter in parenthesis) and underline legal/ethical terminology you use.

Enron is an example of a publicly traded corporation that was involved in a stock price scandal. Corporation is an independent and legal entity formed following the statutory requirements (“Nature of Corporation” 1). This company was founded in 1985 and became one of the major suppliers of gas and electricity in United States of America. However, some of the activities conducted by the top officials were unethical and illegal. The purpose of those mischivious activities was to illegally maintain the company’s stock price. One of the top officials who was majorly involved in this scandal was Andrew Fastow, the CFO of the company. Although several board members of Enron were involved in the stock price scandal, evidence shows that Fastow was heavily involved.
