There has been a lot of discussion and analysis about the behavior of the leader’s affecting the employee performance. In the general influence of the leadership has always played a part in the organizational change. As we all know that the employees always seek motivation and inspiration from their seniors and their positive behavior can certainly help the organization to move forward and carry on with their commitment to the organization. The more committed personnel will always look for opportunities and will be more faithful towards the goal of the organization.(Visage, Steyn, 2008, pp.99) explained in their book that some major multinational companies have brought organizational change with the help of the leadership qualities because they have to re-develop, re-phase and re-structure the team into the new shape for the future prospect. This change always serves the needs of the organization, there are some positive and negative impacts to this change, but in the long run it always helps the cause of the organization. (Visage, Steyn, 2008, pp.99).
Employees do have issues with the management on the basis of workload, appraisals, late sittings etc.. But one thing is for sure that in every company there are some people who always support and ready to organizational change, because they always are optimistic and look for the opportunity that they can achieve their goals within their emotional attachment with the organization. (K.Garg, Ramjee, 2013, pp. 1414)
According to (Kumar Strestha , Mishra , pp.1-5 ) The role of leader applies here where he/she can develop the emotional commitment to the organization and can generate the values, norms and practices within the organization, in this regard the transformational leaders within the organization has succeeded with in the recent past. They always have extracted the best out of their followers because these kinds of leader do value their followers and respect their attachment to the organization.
In the sense of commitments (K. Garg, Ramjee, 2013, pp.1414) stated that there are three types of organizational commitment to be noted the one is affective commitment which is known as emotional attachment with the organization, second is continuance commitment which is known as the cost of leaving the organization and the third is a normative commitment which is known as a moral duty to remain with the company.(K. Garg, Ramjee, 2013, pp.1414)
Great leaders always have the ability to minimize the dissatisfaction, distrust and misconception among the employees which can arise in any organization. The negativity in the minds of the employees can only be cleared with the prominent leadership qualities. (Kumar Strestha, Mishra, pp.1-5) narrated that when the leaders’ treat their followers in an unethical manner it will obviously create negative impact and when bringing the change in the organization, it is compulsory and as well as important to have the confidence of the employees.
