Topic: Functions of the management
Thesis statements: In the modern world of business management, it is important to note that every business regardless of its size require a good management team in order to thrive and achieve the organizational goals. Research shows that a combination of the different management functions are the key constituents of a good management team (Amini, Seyadat, Pirali & Amini, 2014).Therefore, this paper will focus on the main functions of the management team which include organizing, planning, controlling and leading.
Explanation 1: This part will explain the management function of organizing and all the details that entails such function. It will also explain the on how to organize the various resources such as labor and capital and allocate them in the right way. A study done by Rice gives a clear insight of what entails a good management team to be able to organize (Rice, 2013). 
Explanation 2: This part will explain the planning function of the management team, the qualities needed to in order to be considered fit to carry out the function. I.e.: detail oriented, determined, open-minded and a good time manager among others. It will also discuss on the parties involved and what needs to be planned (Kerzner, 2013).
Explanation 3: the discussion will be on the controlling function of the management team. Details will be provided on the importance of this function to the organization, the parties involved and the expected results of good controlling. Controlling requires cooperation from the whole organization hence the involved parties have to adhere to the set rules such as reporting hours and absenteeism (Burke, 2013).
Explanation 4: This section is about the leadership functions. It will discuss on the various types of leadership styles such democratic, strategic, facilitative and cross-cultural among others. As well, qualities of a good leader such as confidence, inspiration, innovation and focus will be discussed (Johnston & Marshall, 2016). 
Conclusion: An integration of the four qualities will be discussed and the manner in which they relate to one another. Also, the writer’s recommendation on how n organization can ensure that the management team is on point will be discussed. I.e.: doing thorough background c...
