Business expansion can be an exciting time in a company’s lifecycle. Global expansion present firms with a plethora of opportunities to expand their brand, win new revenue, and increase their customer base. Currently, expanding into a new territory is a bit easier compared to the past. However, this is not a guarantee that all business that expand overseas will not face challenges or difficulties. Companies that expand blindly tend to face a lot of challenges, for instance, language barrier, business regulations and local culture of the region may hinder the success of the expansion (Hamilton & Webster, 2013). Therefore, it is important for the managerial team to conduct a substantial research on the external market forces and the business terrain before starting the process. To expand successfully into a new country, a company has to conduct a thorough market research, find a logistic agent, and get payment support from the new country.
