The plant is in a way that it minimizes the cost of operations and promotes manufacturing of the products in line with customer preferences (Bertsch, T. 2010). Technological advancement has been on the rise in recent times, and the company has come up with a layout that enhances incorporation of such equipment in the production process.
The product design of the Corporation starts with idea generation. In this case, the company conducts research so as to understand the customer requirements as well as making samples and making them accessible to customers for approval. They also use the suggestions from the customers to improve the products and make them user-friendly. Then the products pass through the product screening where the company presents the report of the research to the senior management where some are informed of sketches. Preliminary design and testing is the next step in the Corporation. Here the company engages in the testing the products and using the preliminary procedures to understand how the manufacturing process will be carried out. The management has a lot of transformation regarding culture so as to accommodate changes that are occurring in the market and reduce being left behind in the technological development. Competition has been a key feature that defines the success or failure of the company. That is important so that it can continue its operations irrespective of levels of competition in the market. In fact, the environment is undergoing a lot of transformation and management in every year comes up with strategies that aim at countering the changes and preparing the systems for the changes. The policies are mainly related to the corporate and business strategies which combine in an efficient manner to add value to the products (Sidorov, I. 2014). There are also a lot of shifts in the handling of the financial services where the management has set up a mechanism related to the same. In the past, the company has experienced a lot of shakes up due to ethical issues relating to the handling of finances. As such the management conducts constant reviews of the systems to ensure the management does not engage in practices of exploitation. The layout of the company is very efficient in realizing the goals of the transformation process. That is because there are preliminary procedures that make sure the company realizes a system that meets cost allocation. The plan should pass the affordability test so as to get approval. The research team looks at the current trends in the technology and forms a strategy that will meet the requirements. That helps in meeting innovation which increases the market share and ultimately raises the growth and profitability. During the planning stage, the company engages in creating policies which integrate all the departments of the organization and also permits involvement of all the parties with an interest in the company. That is making sure there are diverse ideas for application to create an innovative product (Dynamic SWOT analysis., 2011).
The life cycle of the products is very efficient as it always makes the company raise the value of the products from one level to another (Bertsch, T. 2010).. It begins with product planning and designing where strategies of how the whole manufacturing process is carried out. Then the products move to the raw material extraction where management seeks ways of obtaining high valuable to be used in the production of high-quality products. The materials are then transported to the plant for processing and further value addition. The supplier parts are then made accessible to the plant so that they can process to form a finished product. From there the products move to the Ford Corporation where manufacturing of the products to form products that are acceptable to the customers. Afterwards, sales take place domestically and other overseas markets which are located on various continents. The product is used, serviced and finally its life ends. That is a process that makes sure the customer gets a quality that will meet the standards acceptable in the world markets. Additionally, it makes the enterprise remain multinational and be far reaching. Some complaints from customers regarding the quality of the products and inability to understand how to use the products after purchase prompted the need to change the lifecycle. Currently, the management of Ford Corporation has put in place mechanisms such as warranty and insurance services to ensure that it eliminates the levels of consumer dissatisfaction that were very high before the introduction of such service. The customer can also get soft loans so that they can acquire the products of their choice (Olzak, S.(2009).. That has created the need to include such services in the lifecycle of the company to improve service delivery.
However in future the life cycle might encounter some changes due to need to incorporate programs and process which enhance customer focus as well as marketing of the products. The future of the industry which is much driven by the technological changes lies in enhancing good customer relations so that they can contribute to the process of manufacturing. Also, the environment is changing with the introduction of new ways of advertising where of recent companies are using the social media as a method of informing the customers aware of the existence of the products and changes made so as to improve their features (Sidorov, I. 2014).
