First Statement
The main reason for payment of overtime allowances is to motivate the employees to work even hard so as to be able to complete the assigned task in time. The nature of the job determines the urgency it requires to be completed. Some task may call for the need to work for long periods and late into the night. It is, therefore, important that for such a task, the team remains compact to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Second Statement
For a group to work efficiently, all members should be committed to the task. Lack of commitment makesmembers work for fewer hours in a day and eventually work for more days to finish a task. A team that has conflicted ideas and differences is hard to agree on anything, and it is worse to control without supervision. Conflicts in a team tend to have a negative effect on a team’s mood and work rate, and, therefore, the results are unpleasing.
