Traditionally people have believed that video games are only an attractive source of diversion and entertainment among adults and children. Scholars have proved that video games are of paramount importance to the cognitive abilities of adults and children. Turning out to be a developmental cognitive game helps improve brain performance by constantly stimulating the brain, just as physical exercise helps to improve and strengthen muscles. Video games improve people’s cognitive abilities through improving visual processing, attention and executive functioning.
Improving of visual processing happens when an individual plays video games for forty hours or more in 11 weeks.
