Innovations and advancement in technology have contributed towards the emergence of added sources of energy including solar, hydro, wind, geothermal, tidal, wave, hydrogen, and biomass besides improving efficiency. Among these developments, solar energy has emerged as an alternative source to the many available. The ability of the technology to harness the power of the sun and convert it into energy useful in society is a strength. However, this energy form is highly disadvantaged with reliance on the weather, the initial costs of installation and space need presenting as limitations to its usage.
To start with, solar energy is dependent on the weather which is a significant weakness of this form of energy. The spontaneous nature of the weather with changes leading to downward fluctuations of the sun rays or heat solar energy depends on has affected functionality.
