Should government secrets be disclosed to the public? It should be understood that it is against the public and laws for an organization to hack into governmental details and post them to the internet. This can influence a great challenge and negative reactions among the people. Along with the public factual to know, there is the public's right not to understand. The public has a right and freedom, through electing a government, to have some information kept from them and from the enemies. That is why citizens have secret methods to penetrate foe communications. When the organization publishes those files, it tramples on the public's right not to know about the government. It is urged that government secrets should not be disclosed to the public by any chance.
Significantly, the governmental secrets should be kept and no one should publish them because certain secrets might protect the nation against terrorists. Therefore, the terrorists should not be given any opportunity or aid in their efforts to destroy the state, and prohibiting them from getting every detail about governmental actions might assist to prevent inadvertent reinforcement. Furthermore, the people of each nation are simply better off not knowing certain information to which the government may be privy. For instance, if the government had evidence of contact with extra-terrestrial beings, said evidence should be kept a secret. Then, no one could foretell how people would respond to such information; it might cause prevalent panic (DeSpain & Schomaker, 2000).
In a broad spectrum, the government secrets should not be disclosed to the people because they cannot handle such graphic detail in life. The people would go crazy making riots everywhere across the nation. It should be realized that there is a limit on things that people need to know. If everyone knew everything about the government everyone would be paranoid and would become traumatic every single day. It is quite perfect that some knowledge must be kept to them in order to avoid state commotions. Although they have the right to know what is right for them but should be regulated information (DeSpain & Schomaker, 2000).
Even journalists have usually been much more wary about what they have published. There are many cases of reporters discussing with the state government what they should and should not publish in order not to cause damage. The journalists avoid radicalization, to the point where there is longer that type of care and consideration put into decisions about whether or not to publish secret information. But when an anonymous organization intervenes to publish government privacy such as files, it becomes incredibly dangerous because it can shake down the elected government performance of that season.
