Introduction
RISE model is a structured model that helps design or comes up with feedback strategies that are facilitated in giving and receiving positive and realistic critiques about a topic. RISE Model for Prompt 1 Ch.7
Reflect
I concur with the classroom differentiation technique. This is because, through the differentiation, the instructor can know all the students in the classrooms, which helps in determining and learning to a personal level the needs of each student. This helps the instructors design the best possible teaching methods that would help solve each student’s shortcomings the best way they can.
Inquire
The class differentiation program or rationale means the instructor’s urge to help the student in the class to get the best out of the teaching methods used without feeling left behind or ignored by the instructor.
* Has anyone before considered the classroom differentiation rationale viable?
* When the instructor said he wants to do the best for each student passing in his classes, does it mean he will be attending all classes he teaches the same way?
* Does it mean classroom differentiation is the only model that can improve students' performance at a personal level?
Suggest
The classroom differentiation model should consider coming up with a much quicker way than the pre-assessment model ways that can help the instructor assess and determine the students’ academic capability faster before dividing them into various groups of workers and focusing on the subgroups of the groups formed. The pre-assessment model may not work or be comfortable for all students. This will help save time spent studying the students before diving them into various groups and sub-groups.
Elevate
The classroom differentiation technique or rationale can be improved to counter the students’ future learning techniques or ways when they graduate to higher education level. The model should help them settle comfortably in their new areas or institutions of studying.
RISE Model for Prompt 2. Ch 7
Reflect
I agree with the prompt two-argument; it acknowledges the weakness that not all students are at the same learning level. Through differentiations, all students feel a sense of belonging in the classroom and become at the same learning level.
Inquire
When the instructor said “the students that are higher academically,” this means that the model already acknowledges that there are levels of students who are higher, middle and lower learners in the classroom. So they need to be taken into consideration and use the best teaching method that is inclusive to them all.
* Have the teachers considered raising the exam standards to assess the students’ level?
* Have the materials used helped improve the weak students’ performance toward higher standards’?
* How do teachers handle the extra amount of work posed by the model and deliver in time?
Suggest
I might consider the teachers to mix the students in groups by having both higher learners mixed wit
