Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) is a common condition that affects different families across the world. Children that suffer from DHH are usually victims of communication challenges because they are functionally unable to communicate with their parents when toddlers. The paper, therefore, provides a clear articulation of diversified ways in family-centered interventions that families can utilize to address the problems that come with the DHH condition and their effects on the children’s development.
Family-centered interventions are an imperative integral in the parental care interventions for families with DHH children because it seeks to support families with the essential resources, emotional support, and accurate information that can help them in child development.
