Discussion 1
From the entire post, I agree that nurse-led discussions play a crucial role in developing evidence-based practice. For instance, in nursing jobs where there are multiple centers under one organization, nurse-led discussions intervene to ensure effective operation. At this level, the nurse manager, floor nurses, and nurse supervisor should get together and discuss what is needed by each center to meet the outlined goals. After this is done, the nurse supervisor must speak to other medical directors in various centers, thus disseminating essential actions. Secondly, nursing-led discussions allows nurses to have adequate time in evaluating whether new policies' harm outweighs benefits or not. Nurses have to hold and adhere to set standards and policies until the changes initiated by appropriate authorities are fully implemented. It is at this point whereby nurses have to be keen when applying recent changes. The fact is that those who are making these changes in hospitals are not on the actual grounds meaning that nurses have to act accordingly when introducing patients to new policies and standards.
