A student interest inventory is an important element in determining a student’s hobbies. Having a better understanding of a student allows the teacher to educate them better. My student interest inventory focuses mostly on likes and dislikes. I retrieved it from the site www.teacherspayteachers.com. Part of the reason I chose this inventory is because, it allows me as the teacher to have a better understanding of my students. Additionally, the inventory allows students to analyze their strengths and reflect on their future expectations.
