The period between 1920 –1929 was the decade when huge American population became urbanized. This period was marked by huge social and political changes. In these years America grew into economic prosperity and national wealth increased by more than double. Economic growth made a lot of Americans move from rural areas and small towns to urban cities. The concepts of fashion and trends became popular since people had extra money to spend on ready-made clothes and home appliances like radios, refrigerators among others.
