ASSESSMENT 1 – SECTION 1
1. How you will manage your time to ensure your personal work goals and plans are met, including;
1 that they meet your organisation’s goals and objectives
2 that they meet your own responsibilities and accountabilities
3 What initiatives will you take to ensure you meet competing demands and for yourself and your team?
First, define my personal and organization goals to ensure that they are similar in ways. Then allocate time to be spent in achieving the goals. Balancing the personal and teams demands is my initiative to ensure competing personal and team’s demands are met.
1 How you will measure and maintain performance levels in varying work conditions especially considering your position as a role model for others. For example; how will you use contingencies and risk management tools to ensure tasks are completed on time?
I will use risk management tools for planning purposes so as to address uncertainty by generating metrics and tracking risks.
I will use contingencies to my advantage by prior planning through keeping cash reserves in case an unexpected situation happens or does not happen and one that can affect the liquidity of the firm.
3. What technology you will use to manage your work priorities and development?

First, allocating reasonable work time for myself so that I can get time for relaxation and recreation

ASSESSMENT 1 SECTION 2
Having completed Section 1 you are required to maintain a diary for one working week to demonstrate how you have met the requirements in Section 1, Question 1. This diary is to be submitted as part of your assessment. You may use a paper based diary or if it is an electronic diary you are required to print screen dumps of each day as part of the evidence required for this assessment.

Monday: Today was a long day. In my quest to define my personal goals and to ensure that they are in line with those of the organisation. I took extra two hours in the office writing down my personal goals and those of the organisation. I ensured that the goals which are personal in nature which do not coincide with the organisation were deleted from my schedule. This situation is a great sacrifice that I decided to make.
Tuesday: Met with my work group in order to define and discuss our teams objectives and goals and how they relate to the organisation. This activity was carried out during the lunch break.
Wednesday: To ensure that I meet my personal work goals, team goals as well as the organisations I made a schedule on how to carry out activities based on the work activities that involve the organisation, team and personal goals that I had earlier defined on Monday and Tuesday. This activity was done during the tea break.
Thursday: I met my doctor after attending a Yoga class. This move is to ensure that am healthy so that I can perform my tasks effectively. This situation will help me enable to reach the organisation goals, team goals as well as personal goals.
Friday: I had a meeting with my manager as well as my team members to discuss in length the organisational goals as well as team goals that are relevant to the organisation. This move was to ensure that the team goals, organisational goals as well as personal goals rhyme. This activity was carried out at lunch break.
