The Most Important Aircraft, Person, & Technology in Aviation History
I have chosen Boeing 77 7, jet engine and Amelia Earhart as being the most important in aviation history. These three have brought about significant revolutions in the aviation industry and can be said to have made the aviation sector what it is today.
The most important aircraft
I chose Boeing 777 as the most important aircraft in aviation history because it became popular, is regarded as one of the most revolutionary and successful airplanes in the history of aviation. The aircraft helped in ushering in the new era comprising of modern twin-engine and a wide-body airline which led to the obsoleteness of all four-engined jumbos that include Boeing 747 (Zhang, 2018). The aircraft had a capacity of 451 passengers, and it was also the first commercial aircraft that was entirely digitally designed through the use of three-dimensional computer graphics. All through its design process, there was the 'preassembling' of the aircraft on the computer, and this was important as it helped in eliminating the need for a full-scale and costly mock-up.
