Every artist ambition is to come up with good music that will not only be entertaining or soothing but also educative. Many songs and albums have been produced since the development of technology but the fact still remains that only a few can be considered classic. One of the classical albums to be ever released is the Pet Sounds album created by an American band known as Beach Boys. This was the eleventh album of the band and its release date was on 16th May 1966. The 35.57- minute compilation is made up of 13 songs that propelled it to greater heights. The album was compiled on a cassette which has two sides, one containing 7 songs while the other side held six (Burns, 2016). The songs on the first side began with Wouldn’t It Be Nice, followed by You Still Believe in Me, That’s Not Me, Don’t Talk or Put Your Head on My Shoulder, I’m Waiting for the Day, Let’s Go Away for Awhile and finally Sloop John B. Side two entailed tracks such as God Only Knows, I know There’s an Answer, Here Today, I Just Wasn’t Made for These Times, Pet sounds and Caroline No.
