DISCUSS THE BENEFITS OF A LEARNING CULTURE IN AN ORGANIZATION.
Organizations learning refers to a process of creating, retaining, and transferring knowledge within an organization (Argote, Ingram, Levine & Moreland, 2000, p. 5). An organizational learning is a key to the good performance of an organization and continuous existence in future because young talents are trained to gain skills of handling various roles within the organization. An organization improves over time in terms of performance and productivity as it gains experience and from such experience, the organization is able to create knowledge and therefore it is assured of future operation. Every stakeholder in the organization is concerned with the idea of organizations learning because of it has good benefits.
Increased productivity. According to Robert Phillips “A learning culture supports a community of learners, as a total organization, where everyone teaches, everyone learns and everyone shares knowledge.” The culture improves the productivity of each employee because of the knowledge.
Increased profit, a learning culture enables everyone to share his knowledge on how to improve his personal and team production, every employee benefit more so the employees who perform below the target they learn and acquire the knowledge and improve their personal
