Being a boy as from birth is such a blessing to a family since according to African communities it is believed that this gender that ensures the continuity of the family and clan. The birth of boy as child is received with lots of happiness.
As the boy grows, he has to pass some through some rituals of their gender. In some of the African communities’ boy is to undergo circumcision ritual when he is in adolescence (teen age).
