Project Purpose
In this project, you will evaluate the idea selected in project one for its viability as a commercial opportunity. The purpose of this assignment is to develop the critical thinking and entrepreneurial mindset necessary to translate the idea into a money-making business. Along with critical thinking skills, you will develop research, communication and data evaluation skills.

analyze and explain projected financial performance, using selected financial ratios

Step 1: Review the business opportunity assessment form and rubric before completing the assignment.
Step 2: Download the form and answer the questions or submit the collected data under the question. Use the form as your heading guide.
Step 3: Answer in complete sentences and make sure you are defining your terms and giving the reasons behind the conclusions that are drawn. Be thorough and clear in your analysis.

Pet sitting is the activity of caring for pets in the owner’s house while the owner is away. Pet sitting is different from boarding the pet. A pet sitter providers a wide range of services other than providing company for the pet. One may be required by the owner to feed, groom and exercise the pet depending on the varied needs of both the pet and the owner. The clients are billed based on the number of visits, number of days, number of vacations, non- standard duties or the number of pets.
There is an increase in the global demand for pet sitters. This can be attributed to a number of factors, which are common all around the world. The number of people adopting pets is increasing by the day. Most individuals, in the current world economic status, have no time to have to bear children due to commitment and the work needed to care for children. As such, most of these individuals prefer to own pets as an alternative to parenthood. Also, child bearing is now more of a choice than a requirement for women.
