Characteristics of a Healthy Family
A healthy family otherwise known as a strong family does not mean that it’s a family with no problems. All families encounter challenges but some are better equipped in dealing with them than others. In order to develop a strong family, you to identify and consider those areas in which the family is doing great at and areas the family members would like to improve and work on them. These family strengths interact with each other, overlap to some degree and are connected to each other ("Qualities of a healthy family", 2019). They become interwove over time and the more the family practices these traits the healthier they become.
They have these characteristics:
Acceptance of one another. Each family member accepts one another as individuals and as part of the family. This indicates that the family members will abide by each other throughout good or great and bad or tough times. This does not necessarily mean that the behavior may not be accepted. Bad behavior such as stealing, drug addiction may not be accepted but the person is always accepted.
