Is civilian control of military necessary? Several countries around the world led by the United States provides civilian political leaders to control the military. The military swears to work under the civilian political leaders and to protect the constitution. Civilian control of the military is still necessary and does not hinder military operations.
Civilian control of the military is still necessary for the peaceful coexistence of a country. Political leaders, who also control military decisions, intend to control the use of force in governance. Historically, military rule is characterized by the use of force and civilian torture, especially to those who refuse to follow their regulations. In this context, the deployment of the military is left in the hands of civilians. As a result, civilian-led military executes its operations under an agreement by political leaders who will take blame or credit over deployment. Thus, civilian control of the military is still necessary to countercheck the use of force and give scrutiny before military operations.[Levy, Yagil. "What is controlled by civilian control of the military? Control of the military vs. control of militarization." Armed forces & society 42, no. 1 (2016): 75-98.]

Therefore, civilian control of the military does not undermine the military but aid in decision-making which is necessary to enhance stability.[Kenw
