There resides an intricate relationship between democracy and Capitalism, which generates a flummoxing bemusement. Capitalism generates little but vital ways that enhance the effectiveness of democracy; Capitalism, however, has over time continued to block democracy from reaching its maximum point. The unique amalgamation of economic progress and political freedom has significantly improved the wellness of the people. According to the historical evidence, there is an unbreakable bond between political emancipation and an unfettered market. No nation or state enjoys complete political freedom in the current world without seriously considering the unfettered market (Pryor, 2010). Historically, capitalist countries have resided in the absence of democracy but, democracy has never existed without Capitalism. The available information has proven beyond any reasonable doubt that there is no democratic country that has survived without the unfettered market (Schlesinger, 2003). Therefore, Capitalism possesses some vital aspects which are essential in any democratic sphere.
The aspect that Capitalism surfaced democracy, it is wise to settle the underlying factors of democracy. The fundamental objective of democracy is to entrenched a decision that befits everyone. In a nutshell, there is a gracious problem with this. Each person's comprehension of a unified objective as enshrined in democracy is distinct. Every individual has flaws in terms of know-how and exposure. Hence, our in-born enchantment and alignment impede our definition of a unified goal for our society. In addressing this, a democracy is a bi-directional process entailing several concerned entities, with the sole decision-making unit being the majority. This idea of famous reign is the basis of democracy. However, it is managed via the objectives of a democratic country. Even though there are several essential objectives of democracy, my focus will be on the fundamentals of politics, While there are other egalitarianism and fundamentals of freedom. Because of our in-born prejudice in understanding the importance of unified goals, every citizen must be given an ideal opportunity for our prowess.
The purpose of the fundamental of political equality is to ensure that there is fairness in any political process. The essence of political justice is one man, one vote, one dollar. It implies that votes should be distributed equally among all the citizens(Dahl, 1985). This factor is also not sufficient for political fairness. A more vital necessity for political justice is that the magnitude of control should not be determined by social classes, gender, religion, etc. "All the citizens are entitled to equal and fair means of treatment"(Dahl 1985, 59). Individual abilities and capacity should be used as a measure of influence on how one's is given an opportunity.
Similarly, the same ground should also be applied in the case of gender, religion, etc. The fundamental of freedom is that every individual is entitled to make their own decision. Nobody is required to justify their right to liberty (Dahl, 1985). Inst
