Freedom is assured in the bill of rights in America, and the first right guaranteed is religion. America is known as the free nation of the world where the dreams of all people who dare to dream can be realized. The political class more often during campaigns emphasizes this freedom to their supporters to attract support and resonate with the idea of the foundation fathers of a free America. Martin Luther King always fought for freedom and dreamt of an America where a son of a former slave and free citizens would be both viewed as equal human beings and treated equally. In America freedom is a right guaranteed and protected by the constitution, though the founding fathers had initially not thought freedom as important, James Madison ensured its inclusion in the law in 1791.
Freedom in America is represented by various symbols such as the statue of liberty which also translates to the symbol of free America open to all people of the world. The American flag has a word "freedom" engrossed in the white color to make it clearer how important freedom is in America. Presidents who are a symbol of liberty have more often than not expressed freedom in various forums, John Kennedy once said that the price of independence is high, but America has paid it in full. The Oxford definition of democracy is "the state of being free, of not being imprisoned or enslaved and or the lack of specific constraints or constraint in general, the state of being free and unconstrained" I cannot agree more, freedom is free from and restraint. Freedom cannot be achieved without enforcement of the land laws as there are people in exercising their freedom will step on others. In these cases constitution comes in handy to resolve such disputes and disagreements, this important document protects and promotes freedom.
Clothing and fashion in the USA are diverse and trendy in fact the US has been rated highly in the fashion industry. Clothing in the USA is an important topic and have dominated discussions in the public arena for long for instance should school uniforms be mandatory? This debate has had proponents as well as opponents both giving their justification for their arguments. The US laws are very accommodating as it is not limiting, for instance, a skirt length for women is not dictated, and they are at liberty to wear what they deem fit. Dressing in America is dictated by so many other issues such as the weather, the occasion, and personality. The Muslim girl either in school or college is allowed to wear a hijab as one of the rights guaranteed in the constitution.
