Globalization
The aspect of globalization in economic, political, social, ecological, and cultural issues has made the world a global village. It refers to nonexistence the barriers in communication or access to different parts of the globe that all the nations have faced, among each other because of suspicion or ambition and mutual mistrust. Many countries had different cultural backgrounds divided to culturally diverse worlds. Such attempts were unable to understand the challenges of life, including the disasters and disease epidemics due to lack of common perception. The issue of globalization has enhanced interaction and helped people understand each other in a better way through cultural interaction and exchange. It has been necessary in enhancing quick access to other parts of the globe regardless of the cultural differences.
Some barrier separated people and maintained people's natural heritage as well as identities. It has become an important issue, but the impacts are not limited to the economic field of countries. It also reflects all aspects of life such as the political, psychological, social, and cultural issues. Culture is one of the key values of people in different countries that have existed all over the world for many years. Globalization has brought positive effects both in economic and industrial sectors, but people cannot ignore the adverse impacts that it has on society and culture (Bhagwati, 2004). In the contemporary society, countries have developed their cities like one another, but people from diverse cultural and societal backgrounds are converging to new and different forms of collective culture. Globalization has created better ways in business and international trade through cultural exchange and understanding. This has changed communication and eased understanding among different and distant people around the world. It can change the world, and the way people live. It is also making beneficial changes in the political scenario hence life hardships or challenges like poverty, unemployment, and shift in power addressed with ease due to a common understanding.
The marginalized parts of the globe due to cultural aspects are even getting opportunities to trade in world markets. For instance, the aspect of branding goods is developing in Asia, although it was not relevant in the past years. Globalization has brought about this possibility. Furthermore, it is not limited to modernization, but building the western cultures can fade the original and native culture or heritage. There is de-localization that needs people to adopt because a direct interaction is no longer applicable (Hobson, 2003). People often use distinct modalities to interact at different and far parts around the world like the use of advanced technology. For instance, American citizens may attempt to deal with the billing aspects of the mobile phone with an Asian whom he is not an employee in a firm. This could be complex and it is, in fact, difficult thus requires a careful approach.
The heritage of different cities or countries is changing and common with many other countries. This has further changed the culture among the receiving nations and towns throughout the world. It thus builds a new and a common culture without hindrance of countries' geographical location. This is possible by the spread of the effects and changes of globalization (Hobson, 2003). Traditional clothing styles are fading and the newly developed fashions are gaining popularity because of the widespread of new brands. Currently, people look-alike in the way they eat, talk, communicate, and dress in the same way, even if they are in different and far cities. Regardless of this distance, globalization has brought together cultural and overcoming the native societal heritage and cultural diversity. Globalization has brought in uniqueness that makes people different and allows them to stand out from the rest. This is only possible due to culture as a particular culture is common in a particular place and people.
Globalization has changes and brings in a common culture, around the world hence hindering uniqueness on cultural differences. Due to globalization, there have been markets for international and national firms, and the world's trading population, there is an effective access to services and products from different parts because of the heightened sense of cultural integration (Hobson, 2003). This has created a continuous flow of cash to the developing world that rapidly lowers the differences in dollar values across the world. Globalization on culture has been robust in fostering the development and information exchange between the developed and developing countries on cultural aspects and trade. Due to international languages, there has been a continued growth in the employment, trade and there are many approaches for companies to use in enhancing effective and productive understanding (Bhagwati, 2004).
Political issues in varied cultural backgrounds and countries are merging, and the decisions that are beneficial to people all...
