Patient, family or population health problem can be defined as the health outcomes that an individual or a group of individuals and also includes the distribution of the related outcomes. In other words, population or family health problem is the process which ensures the enhancement of the health conditions of a specific number of a given population in a particular geographical area. In most cases, health problems occur as a result of the changes in the normal functioning of the normal metabolism of the human body. Therefore, health problems are referred to as diseases. In this particular paper, I am going to explore more on the injury and violence type of health problem CITATION Got07 \l 1033 (Gottlieb, 2007).
Injury and violence go hand in hand, and it is a health problem that has caused a lot of families and relationships. In the line of duty of my practice, several goals are relevant in helping the injury and health patients. Violence in almost 100% brings about injuries to oneself and even to others. According to statistics, injuries cause deaths of around 1-44 persons in a month CITATION Ken12 \l 1033 (Kendall, 2012). The most cases of violence usually come from homicides, falls, vehicle and motor clashes among other forms of violence. An act of violence, in some cases, may end up hurting the people around more than the individual who committed the act. The health problem discussed above is mainly affecting the young generations since according to the violence has become a reliable weapon to use when getting back at a person or when dealing with some life issues that they face in their daily lives. With a lot of competition and expectations from society. Therefore, the young generation is the wider part of the population that is struggling with the health problem of injury and violence CITATION Bak08 \l 1033 (Bakken, 2008).
