Organizational Agility Student’s Name Date Why is organizational agility in dynamic environments important? Organizational agility pertains to the organization's ability to react quickly to market developments (Vaishnavi Suresh & Dutta, 2019). Organizational changes always have some benefits. Amazon is a good example of an online shop that has evolved and reacted to market developments. Amazon's organizational agility has paid off. It began as an online bookshop in founder Jeff Bezos' garage and has now grown to sell over 3 billion items over 11 markets. Amazon has an obvious competitive advantage because of its organizational agility (Rialti, Marzi, Silic & Ciappei, 2018). This flexibility has enabled them to effectively respond to rivals, new industry-changing technology, and market circumstances changes. At its heart, organizational agility refers to a company's ability to adapt to change. Agility-focused businesses may manage their projects more flexibly, autonomously, and more productive, thus boosting production and lowering costs. The product is not planned or created ahead of time using this approach; rather, it develops based on feedback loops produced during the process, such as when workers finish tasks and inform their superiors. Progress is updated after each sprint specified time, and the cycle begins again. Because the customer is also getting news regularly, their input may assist in determining priorities and suggesting improvements (Li, & Holsapple, 2018). According to the book managing change, inquiry, and action (Beech, Macontosh, Krust, Kannan, & Dadich, 2017), Among the many advantages that organizational agility may provide, a few stand out: The significance of the human aspect is emphasized. Employee involvement and motivation in projects lead to higher-quality work and, consequently, better business and customer outcomes. It also guarantees that delivery is completed more quickly. When a development team uses an agile approach, it may change the company by emphasizing flexibility and reducing wasted time. It also contributes to improved product quality. Constant modifications ensure that you are open to change and may help you avoid mistakes. It guarantees that the added value is increased. We can improve the quantity of useful information we take in by using this approach and having more contact with the customer. This adds value and helps to avoid unexpected situations. It increases customer satisfaction. The customer feels like part of the team and can assist you in producing the finest product possible thanks to a more collaborative communication channel filled with regular feedback (Rane & Narvel, 2019).  How does it work? Organizational agility is achieved by implementing an effective and efficient change strategy that assists the company in achieving its objectives. John Kotter (1996) presented the change model, which is eight steps that he designed by studying over a hundred organizations that undertook changes. The following are the eight stages in the change process: The first step is to instill a feeling of urgency in your audience. This may be accomplished in various ways, by detecting and emphasizing possible risks and consequences that may arise in the future. The second stage is to create successful guiding coalitions by identifying effective change leaders in the company and important stakeholders and seeking their contribution and commitment to the change process. The third stage is to create a plan and a vision. This is accomplished by identifying fundamental principles, establishing the ultimate dream, and formulating methods for change in a company. The image must be communicated in the fourth stage. Convey this shift in perspective as frequently as required powerfully and convincingly. Link the goal to the entire elements that are important. Factors like training and evaluation of performance. The fifth stage is to remove roadblocks and empower workers to take action. Verify that the companies’ procedures and framework are all in order and that they are under the organization’s overarching goal. Creating short-term victories is the sixth stage. One can provide a perception of success in the starting stages of change by generating quick win...
