Do you think the hotel should be liable for the acts of the employee?
The hotel should be liable for the acts of this officer. This is because it has failed to instill good mannerisms and work ethics of dealing with clients to its employees. The way this employee handled the client is questionable. This may be interpreted to mean that it's their way of handling clients at that specific hotel. This is because the hotel management is not seen anywhere, fighting for the client until the client went to a court of law to seek justice. Therefore, the hotel should be blamed for this. Again during the incivility between the officer and Plaintiff, the hotel management does not intervene. May this could have prevented the worst from happening. The management failed to control its worker, and therefore they should bear the consequences.
