Quality control (QC), is a procedure to ensure that a product or service satisfies specific quality criteria (Beger et al., 2019). In contrast to the preventative nature of quality assurance (QA), the reactive nature of quality control (QC) focuses on locating and correcting flaws or faults as soon as they are discovered. This may be accomplished by examining and testing items or services to see whether or not they fulfill the quality standards that have been set. In the manufacturing business, for instance, quality control may entail checking final goods to determine whether or not they conform to the required dimensions, tolerances, and performance standards. Quality management (QM) is the overall process of ensuring that the quality of a product or service meets the required standards and meets the needs of the customers or stakeholders (Beger et al., 2019).
